Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026

ModBox NWO Inc. (“ModBox,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit modboxmodular.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy laws.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, request a quote, email us, or call us, you may share your name, company, email address, phone number, project location, and any project details you choose to include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. We use this for site analytics, security, and to improve performance.

Cookies. The site uses essential cookies to function and may use analytics cookies to measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work correctly without them.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

  • respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, and discuss your project;
  • provide products and services and coordinate delivery and installation;
  • send project updates, invoices, and contractual communications;
  • operate, secure, and improve the website;
  • comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for unsolicited marketing outside the project conversation you initiated.

3. How we share information

We share information only when necessary, including with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the business — for example, email and form delivery, hosting, analytics, and accounting platforms — bound to confidentiality and to use the data only for the services they provide to us;
  • Project partners such as sub-trades, transport carriers, and engineers, where sharing is needed to deliver your project;
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

4. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, to fulfil contractual obligations, and to meet legal record-keeping requirements (typically up to seven years for project and tax records). After that, we securely destroy or anonymize it.

5. Security

We use reasonable physical, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect the information in our custody. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to limit access to personal information to staff who need it.

6. Your rights

Subject to PIPEDA and Ontario law, you may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent (which may affect our ability to provide services), and ask us about how your data has been handled. To make a request, contact us at the email below.

7. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites (for example, social platforms, mapping services, or partner organizations). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

8. Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted here.
